What size (in inches or pts) should I use to design a web page in 2007?

I am designing a new website and I want it to look %26quot;full screen.%26quot; The last site I designed was 800 x 600 points, but this looks small compared to so many sites on the web now. I will be using flash, dreamweaver and html.

Web design is done in points (pixels).

To ensure maximum compatibility, you should design to 800 x 600. However, you can design to as wide as 1,000 pixels and most users won%26#039;t need to scroll.

1024 X 768 is the next standard resolution size

Other Replys:Atleast design it for a resolution of 1024 x 768...

You can dynamically resize your content by using window.ClientHeight / window.ClientWidth (javascript)
