Is there a way to make it so the cursor focus doesn't change automatically when I open a web pa

My start-up page on Explorer is set to a dictionary site with a search box on the page. When the page opens, though, the cursor automatically moves to that search box on the page. I hate that.

(I usually use a different dicitionary on the same page or type in another URL.)

Is there any way to make the cursor do what I want it to instead?

Open your mouse properties in control panel and make sure smart move is unchecked.
