Is it possible to format text in either HTML or CSS on a web page that doesn't have tools for t

I%26#039;m posting a message in a forum, and I%26#039;d like to be able to italicize one of the lines. When I tried using the %26lt;i%26gt;%26lt;/i%26gt; tags, the message didn%26#039;t italicize when displayed, it just showed up with the tags in it, %26lt;i%26gt;like this%26lt;/i%26gt;

Is there a way to %26#039;override%26#039; or %26#039;trick%26#039; it into working if the page isn%26#039;t set up for it, such as by putting in more complex tags or CSS?

*If there is, then keep it on the DL so YA doesn%26#039;t see this! ;-)

no, you can not.

when you%26#039;re typing a text contain %26lt; or %26gt;, the forum or YA convert %26lt; and %26gt; into html special character code i.e. %26lt;%26gt;

so, when it out put to your browser, brower convert them back to %26lt;,%26gt; literately.

Bottom line is you can not embedded tag inside these input.
