I am opening a small business and i want to creat my own homepage. Do i have no choice but to buy a domain name?

Freewebs and Bravehost are good starters and you can choose the business name as part of the account name (eg my son%26#039;s site is bravehost/spidercrazy), but if the web business picks up then yes it will probably mean having to buy a domain.

There are lots of free websites. The drawback is that they will have various forms of advertising on them, and they will have limits to how large or complicated you can make your website.

But if you%26#039;re running a business, the website domain is such a tiny expense. There are hosts charging less than $10 per month. That%26#039;s very reasonable. Depending on what you need to do with your site, you can go free, low-cost, or may need a better service.

Other Replys:You could set up your own page on Blogger, MySpace, or Facebook. All of these are free. But I don%26#039;t think this will help your business very much. It%26#039;s probably better to buy a domain name and web hosting from someone like 123-reg. It%26#039;s not very expensive.

I%26#039;m afraid that you will get what you pay for. You can set up a free page, but it won%26#039;t generate the level of interest or usefulness that a paid-for page will, and nor will it allow you much flexibility.
