This format is odd anyway I can never get the right hand side of the page to print? Please help

Hi People, I know your out there with all the answers so how is it that every time I try to print a web page,?

Because webpages are designed to be viewed on computer screens and not printed.

Most pages of text have what is known as a %26quot;printer friendly version%26quot; where it removes all the headers and borders and aligns the text properly.

It is either at the top or the bottom of the article.

Hi People, I know your out there with all the answers so how is it that every time I try to print a web page,?

Websites are quite often larger than the printable area of a sheet of paper. My suggestion would be to highlight the areas of the page that you want to print, press ctrl + p, select the option of %26#039;selection%26#039; under %26#039;page range%26#039;, and click ok.

Other Replys:Select the stuff that you want to print. Hit CTRL-P. Where it says %26quot;Page Range,%26quot; click %26quot;Selected.%26quot; Then it will hopefully print just fine.

Other Replys:look on the page for the link to Print friendly version and click that and print the page or else you probably have a oddball printer that you picked up cheap and installed the closest drivers to the exact one you could find and now it prints but is screwy...am I right?

Other Replys:Look on the web page for a link to a printable version of the page. Or else copy what you want to print over to Word, that%26#039;s what I do and it saves paper.

Other Replys:As previous posters have said, web pages are designed to be viewed on screen, not printed. If the page does not have a printable version then it will overlap.

Try and get a copy of Canon Easy-WebPrint. It comes with canon printers %26amp; I think can be downloaded from their website. This prints the web page to page width, making the print %26quot;less wide%26quot; but longer.

Other Replys:Depending on the browser you are using the print preview will have a go at fitting it on an A4 sized sheet. It depends very much on the HTML being displayed as lots of writers use fixed sizes for page elements which stop the browser being so flexible.

Other Replys:Because of the orientation of a screen, you may have more luck printing in landscape rather than portrait. Good luck :~)
