What's the best program to use to build my own web page?- Preferably free and idiot-proof?

Is that too much to ask?

I%26#039;m a singer, and want to create a page with photos, samples of my music, news, contact details; you know- stuff!

I am computer literate, but I don%26#039;t want to learn the arcane art of %26#039;coding%26#039; if possible.

Thanks in advance, guys n gals

What%26#039;s the best program to use to build my own web page?- Preferably free and idiot-proof?

Microsoft FrontPage. Piece of cake!

What%26#039;s the best program to use to build my own web page?- Preferably free and idiot-proof?

Meh frontpage is ok, but its not always free.

I personally use AceHTML editor. Its nice and easy if you already know how to code in HTML.

If all else fails, then CoffeeCup is a good lil tool to use also, but not free after the 25 day trial period.

Other Replys:I have a hosted website through Geo-cities. I use their page builder programs, so simple to use. They also have Page wizard which is even more simpler to use.

Both of these programs are free for usage on this site.

Other Replys:You want to check out www.piczo.com

It is free / easy / lots of help %26amp; samples you can copy and use on your page.

Anything can be posted except porn.

Go there and check out some of the sample pages or my first shot at it: www.cmpappy.piczo.com

Other Replys:If you don%26#039;t care too much about what the code looks like, Adobe GoLive will probably be the best (from my pov). I don%26#039;t use it myself, since I prefer to work on the code, which gets quite messed up with GoLive, but if you just want a wysiwyg editor, then it%26#039;s probably the best. Unfortunately it%26#039;s not free.

Other Replys:Use %26quot;Microsoft Word%26quot; to create your website. If you are computer literate, hopefully you can make a Word document. Make the Word document look how you want your website to look, then select %26quot;Save As Webpage%26quot; and it will do the code for you. If you don%26#039;t have MSWord on your computer, then www.coffeecup.com is the best alternative... not free, but very cheap.

Other Replys:You might want to try a website builder that way you don%26#039;t need to do any programming nor learn html, they are hassle free and you just logon, make your changes and logout. Hosting and everything else is included. The one I use for my sisters%26#039; website %26#039;Mythosband%26#039; (she is a singer) is http://www.coolbuild.com , but you can search around for one that fits your budget.

Other Replys:Start learning CSS, and HTML. They are very easy and straight forward. You can get books to teach those programing languages to you in a very small amount of time. Then you can move on to the Pro stuff like Asp.Net
