Can someone tell me how to add a background to MySpace web page?

I can%26#039;t figure out how to get my background on my profile page. I have the code copied, I just don%26#039;t know what to do with it.

Can someone tell me how to add a background to MySpace web page?

make sure you have the entire code copied, then go to edit profile on your welcome page...there you will see the %26quot;about me%26quot; section, paste the code in there...save changes and you will see the background once you go to view my profile...that works the same way for anything you want to add to your profile.

I need an html/javascript that prevents users from saving a web page?

I would like to add a code to my secure page to prevent users from saving it on their computer.

I need an html/javascript that prevents users from saving a web page?

The following commands work in some browsers to stop the page caching. But as has been said, trying to protect a page is pointless. There are a million and 1 ways to get around all methods of hiding code. Just enjoy your coding and know that just as you will take ideas from others, they will take them from you.

%26lt;meta http-equiv=%26quot;pragma%26quot; content=%26quot;no-cache%26quot;%26gt;

%26lt;meta http-equiv=%26quot;expires%26quot; content=%26quot;-1%26quot;%26gt;

I need an html/javascript that prevents users from saving a web page?

That is not possible. If you serve the page and allow me to access it, I can save the information.

Other Replys:If the page can be viewed in a web browser it can be saved. It%26#039;s that simple.

Other Replys:There is no way of doing it. You can disable the right click option, but usually if you hold down the left button then click on the right button you will override the JavaScript.

No matter what you do someone can steal your code by viewing source. Someone can easily steal your images but taking a screen capture.

Its a futile effort that will not work

Other Replys:There are ways to hide your source code from others - wrap it in a different non-displaying language like ASP. But the actual page that is served can still be saved. So if you want to avoid them from saving your source, that%26#039;s one thing - but saving what gets displayed in the browser itself is another

Other Replys:Well, I%26#039;ve actually seen web pages that also disable the %26quot;View Source%26quot; menu item in the %26quot;View%26quot; menu of Internet Explorer. And I have written a script that does not allow the right-mouse button to be clicked at all. The most common example of that is a custom context menu, instead of the IE context menu for right-click.

Other Replys:Everyone is right. No script exists that can stop someone from downloading your page. But you can scramble the source so that they cannot see how the page was written. Therefore they cannot steal parts of the code.

Note: before scrambling your source code it might be a good idea to put a senetence on your page saying %26quot;Copyright (c) 2006 Your Name Here All Rights Reserved%26quot; so everyone knows who your page belongs to. After the page is scrambled they won%26#039;t be able to get rid of the copyright. :)

Copy and paste your HTML source code into this tool.

http://www.voormedia.com/en/tools/html-o...

Then click the %26quot;create scrambled html%26quot; button. Now copy and paste the scrambeld html into your hatml editor and save it.

DO NOT DESTROY THE ORIGINAL FILE IN CASE YOU WANT TO MAKE CHANGES AT A LATER DATE!

Now no one will want to take your page.

I want to ask you that if it is possible to forward our web page when people ask you about islam or

I am working in a publishing company. all of our books are available on the net.they are free on the net. the books include detailed islamic information, in Turkey 30.000 people and all around world 90.000 people visit our web site in a day. We are a non-profit organization so that we want to forward all our informations to everyone. our web site is www.harunyahya.com

I want to ask you that if it is possible to forward our web page when people ask you about islam or religion?

One way you could get a link to your website is to put it in your personal information profile. When you answer questions, you can give the link as part of your answer also. For example, if you click on my yahoo name, you can go to my personal information. There you will see my website address. Also, as an example, I will put my website address in the box below, and you can directly click on it.

So you can do the same thing.

I want to ask you that if it is possible to forward our web page when people ask you about islam or religion?

Yahoo! Answers is not intended as a place for individuals to solicited others to promote one%26#039;s own websites.

Other Replys:Nah. Looks like religious propaganda to me.

HTML: the book said: write on a Notepad, save it and display the Web page in a Web browser (Internet

but when I go to the Internet Explorer and try to Open this file, it just said the internet is off line and I am unable to open it, even though i am online for most of others things! Why is that , how can I open the web on the browser? My server is Virgin and they don%26#039;t care to help me, since the pop up of Off line, Connecting, Error comes all the time.

HTML: the book said: write on a Notepad, save it and display the Web page in a Web browser (Internet Explorer)

Save your .txt file as a .html file - are you doing this?

HTML: the book said: write on a Notepad, save it and display the Web page in a Web browser (Internet Explorer)

Make sure you save the file as filename.HTM or filename.HTML. Go to My Documents and double click it and IE should launch and display the document as a webpage. You don%26#039;t need to have IE already running.

Other Replys:to view simple html files on the local machine doesn%26#039;t require any internet connedction.

Write html code in a note pad. While saving it save it as a %26quot;abc.html%26quot; (with double quotes) as the file type in the below combo box is .txt file

alternative way is to change the file type from the combo box to %26quot;All%26quot; and type the name as abc.html without quotes.

for those file which u have ealier created.. check the extension. it should be .html or .htm. otherwise it will not display

Other Replys:using notepad save the file as:

%26quot;myFilename.html%26quot; or %26quot;myFilename.htm%26quot; complete with the %26quot; %26quot;

if yo do not use the double quotation marks, notepad saves your file as myFilename.html.txt not myFilename.html

Other Replys:I think you are ahead of yourself. Notepad is an HTML Editor program. When you %26quot;open the web on the browser%26quot;, you are supposed to be opening the WEB PAGE ON THE BROWSER. I have a web site and I type the rubbish I want to publish to the web site in Word, then copy it and paste into Notepad (the HTML Editor), then I copy the Notepad page and paste it into the web site. This method gives continuity to the article without line breaks etc., if I posted it as a Word paper there would be double spaces between lines for e.g..

I'm looking for a Forex predictor software but can't find a web page that compares them...

I%26#039;ve got a pushy salesman after me wanting me to buy a $3000 software %26quot;VantagePoint%26quot; at Tradertech.com. Does anyone have any comments on this software? Outside of there own web site I can barely find it listed anywhere else. What I%26#039;d really like is a web site that lists the best software and has a review or check box of it%26#039;s features. Can you please help me before Mr. Happy/Helpful salesman calls me Monday morning? PLEASE! I%26#039;M DESPERATE! I%26#039;ve spent 15 hours researching and I know nothing more than when I started. Also if there is some terrible or virus software out there, please let me know. I know it%26#039;s a lot of questions. If you can answer just one area that would be great

Please do not waste your money on foolish software......you do not need to spend $3000 to learn how to trade in the Forex market.

I would be happy to help you ....for nothing! I hate seeing people get ripped off.
